Every January, Realtors flood social media with their awards and achievements. Now, don’t get me wrong, It’s wonderful to celebrate success. Realtors work hard, unpredictable and long hours, so why wouldn’t we share our accolades? The only caveat about real estate awards is they are almost exclusively tied to gross commissions or number of sales and sometimes are relatively easy to achieve. In my career, I have proudly received Remax’s 100%, 200%, Platinum Club, 5 Million Dollar Club and Hall of Fame awards, but the award that I cherish most is when my brokerage, out of over 500 agents, chose me for their Outstanding Achievement Award.
So why does this matterto you? This award is not tied to a set amount of sales or income. It is to recognize those who stand out both professionally and personally. It is my dedication to my clients, to always put them first and my willingness to go above and beyond, outside of the typical duties of a Realtor, But to also always get the job done, of course. You want a Broker who doesn’t just get the deal done, but remembers how important this is to YOU. This isn’t just another number in my stats. It’s another chance to make a real difference in someone’s life. My clients know they can depend on me to protect them and make it right. This is why the phrase I find myself saying most while working with a client is ‘I’ll take care of it’!
Now, Do I sell the most homes? No. There are teams that sell more homes than I do, of course, but I tend to measure my success on my clients happiness and their desire to keep working with me and refer their friends and family, more than on sheer numbers. McDonalds sells more hamburgers than anyone, but if I am craving a hamburger, I will go to a restaurant where the chef takes pride in his food and the owners have a vested interest in their customers satisfaction and go that extra mile to make the experience pleasurable.
